What planet do you live on???!!!
Everyone knows, to be a motorcycle it has to be big, fat, and loud...
Those other things on 2 wheels are just pretenders, being ridden by pretenders.
Let there be no more blasphemy at the alter of Harley.
Dear lord...... there are actually a lot of people who HATE riding cruisers. some of these guys love the café racers and other types of machines. I can't pretend to understand their story because most of the bikes they ride look about as comfortable as buying the old lady tampons in a crowded store. but hey to each their own.
They are cheap POS Triumph knockoffs. Entirely different market...
wrong answer. they are actually a continuation of the Enfield Company of Great Britain design and has been in production about as long as the Sportster. For what they are, they are a fine bike. Not a Harley, obviously, but not a Chinese crap scooter either.

I guess I don't understand your post.
Or, maybe you didn't connect with the sarcasm in mine.
My point was there are so many Harley brand monkeys in here that can't even look at another bike without putting it down.
I can't think of a bike I really don't like. Every bike has something to offer.
Hell, I would ride a mini-bike if I had one available to me.

I concur, though I do have to say at my age, anything more than 30 minutes on a sportbike may require traction.

Absolutely a wrong statement. Half or more grew up on other bikes of all makes and a solid percentage own other brands across the entire spectrum.
I have had Honda's, Kawasaki's, Yamaha's, Suzuki's, Norton and a couple others.
I have read many posts on the various forums here about what other bikes members would like to have and their choices covered everything from metrics, British German and Italian.
I would venture that 90% respect other brands of motorcycles. The brand that gets beat up most on this forum is HD's!

I suggest reading every post in this thread and reworking your statistics. Or read any thread about any bike other than a Harley and make a quick count. On this thread I think it was all negative until page 3 When I broke the ice and stated I liked Royal Enfield.
Search a Honda or Victory thread.
Clearly you are well rounded, others, not so much..

Quoted For Truth!
Sadly I was one of those. . .
Now I am shunned by most of those I used to ride with.
**** em, I'm happy and I no longer care what you ride. To each their own.
Polaris is considering doing the same thing with Indians. Ship the parts to India, pay slave labor wages to assemble, and save mega bucks on the tariffs.
What better place to make Indians than India! Oh, wait, is there a difference between American Indians and India Indians?
