I've got a N-R rainsuit purchased in 2007. It's well made and effective, but heavier and bulkier than many others. I tried some others as well (e.g., Frog Toggs), but none really worked as well, so I finally just settled on the N-R for my standard. It has never yet failed to keep me dry even thru really serious downpours.

They are not heat shielded though.
They look and sound okay Ron, especially for the money but the lack of a heat shield drastically takes them out of the picture for me. The only time that is actually an issue is when I am filling up while sitting on the bike but that is how I roll.

The Top notch HD gear works great for me, especially with the gaiters.

This sounds like a pretty good item but the few listings that I've looked up, don't mention any kind of heat shielding in the pant legs.

Confirm/Deny?

That's something I'm looking for.

I have had many rain suits over the years, and got tired of the things leaking, and I bought a set of HIGH VIS , from Harley, and I have to say they are the best yet. If you ride a lot, and Tour , this is the best, at least I believe so.
The pants have suspenders, and the legs zip up to the knee, so they go on pretty easy ,and the jacket is nice.
My brother, has had a set for 15 years, and it is still in real good shape, so I figure if they last that long they are not that expensive.I also have gaiters.

I had them for 3 years before I burned a small hole in them . Stitched it up.
Just make sure to keep my leg off the engine. They are the only pants long enough. In regular pants 34 inseam, but on a bike I need 36 to stay dry. These pants are available in short and long.

I've ordered from Jafrum in the past and the stuff get's here fast.

Just wanted to let you guys know in case those sizes worked for you.

Not to hijack the OP thread but to add to it. While I have found what I feel is a great rain suit and had it for 7 years, I have yet to find what I consider good gloves for riding in the rain.

I think that most of these recommendations would suit any rider's needs but I can tell you that mine did not come with any sort of boot cover. I bought the tourmaster covers for $25. But I have not been able to find what I consider a suitable glove. In glove I would think warm but not winter lined, gauntlet to keep rain out of cuffs, and hopefully waterproof or at least waterproof to start with.

Got this HD rain suit (link Below) 5 yrs ago and they have always kept me dry and still do... And they have adjustable leg openings. I did buy some suspenders to help hold them up
They roll up nicely and fit in the bag that come with them and doesn't take up much room in the saddle bags when traveling.

They are an Older style (2010) and they would probably be hard to find now

Barnett's shows them but they are OUT of stock! Reg $165 on sale now for $69 would be a great price if they still had some..

What's out there that doesn't have this problem? I would rather deal with having to take my boots off and on, on the side of the road, then deal with what I have presently. FXRG rain pants will cure what ails you.. Think$$$$$$.

But they're great.
