Default Strike delay timeframe?

Anyone have any reliable info as to exactly how long the delay due to strike is? The bike that was originally due in late March still isn't in, no reliable answer yet as to when. Another dealer has the bike/color in stock, I don't mind waiting for the original way but hate to miss out if mine dropped off the '07 roles and they try to switch me.

Do you like and trust the dealer you are dealing with enough to wait it out?

Personally, if the price was about the same, I would go to the other dealer. Be riding sooner.

What are you waiting for, model? Is it a bike built out of York? EG, SG, RK, ST? Most of those models that were ordered pre-strike and or to be delivered in March have been delivered. I ordered in late January and was told march 15th. Strike hit, bike got to the dealer March 29th, it was built after the strike.

Waiting for a Yellow Pearl RG. An extra month or so from original estimate is OK, that's about now. The last visit to the dealer was less than warm and fuzzy, this was after leaving messages to call me on my cel and everyone that was anyone seemed to be off the day of the visit. The following Monday, a message on my home machine was left during normal work hours! The dealer always had a good reputation with me before, many more long faces there lately.
