Default Trees for a 14' Dyna

i recently bought a 2014 Dyna Fat Bob for my wife and I'm trying to use the 23" front wheel off of her old 1992 Dyna, doesn't fit. The 92 was thrown together with quite a few different bikes parts and I'm seeing now the trees and forks must be after market. I guess my question is does anyone know where the best place and most cost effective to find some wider trees that I could use existing forks?

Are your forks 39 or 41mm? Not sure there are wide trees for 39's. And will the trees hook up to a new Dyna? Redesigned in '06. Best bet is jp. Good luck.

wastedranger.... they are acually 49mm. After doing some research today I have found out I need a set of 49mm wide glide trees. I've looked all over ebay and they are hard to find, any help from guys on here would be great. Thanks

I'm a little confused. I know the fat bob has 49's. It has wide trees as well. The only difference between fat Bob and wide glide trees is wg has a little extra rake built in. I thought you wanted to put front end off old bike on new fat bob. If the old bike has 49's which I'm doubting then there isn't an issue.

Yep - already has wide glide width trees. As far as the wheel goes.........buying a brand new FB and sticking a (old, unknown) 23" wheel on it is going to look...................dumb, sorry, no other way to put it.
