how fast you do it doesn't matter it is how you do it that matters
Haven't bled a lot of front brake systems on bikes have you, how fast you work that lever has everything to do with good results in short order, like banging the old lady you go all rabbit on her right out the gate gonna be while before you see it again.
Given your explanation of how it takes two people to bleed brakes,, your right.
Man, I've seen some obstinate, argumentative individuals before but you take the cake.
Just go to any track day at any road course in the nation and you'll find nearly every participant uses speed bleeders. They bleed and de-glaze their brakes after every race. Speed bleeders makes that job more efficient.
Kind of an important factor for those guys, but I'll bet you'll argue that as well.
I also own and use a pressure bleeder but do so less often now since speed bleeders work so well.
Jesus man, get with it and at least try some before you start shooting off your mouth.
Heck, I never even knew such a thing existed. I just bled my brakes the other day. I don't think I'd bother with them on my bike, as I can reach both the bleed screw and the brake lever/pedal at the same time easily enough, but I can see their value on a car or larger/more complex vehicle.

Given his "I use a rubber tube comment", I don't think he even knows what speed bleeders are, or what they do.

I use a chunk of tubing also, you wedge it onto the top of the bleeder then into a small bottle to keep the mess down when you crack the valve open even with speed bleeders.

I only had to try them once and it was enough to make a believer out of me. I have them on everything that I own that has brakes that sooner or later need bleeding.
OK, I give. What the Heck are Speed Bleeders? I guess my wife is right... I don't know everything.

I'm not sure of what a speed bleeder is. But, if it is the vacuum pump then it is of great utility.
I do my own brake flush about two year intervals. That comes up a lot with 16 bikes in the garage. I went with the inexpensive HF model with the brass pump.
Did three bikes through the winter. No issues at all. One man job, no spilling and saved enough on just one fee from the dealer to pay for the fluid and bleeder. It is all gravy after that.
