Thanks for all of the advice. I took the wide glide custome for a test ride this weekened and confirmed all of the advice. Nice bike with lots of power but it's definitely no road glide, 99 or not! I felt very cramped and uncormfortable on the wide glide. It would be a nice bike for a few mile ride to the store and back. Went for a ride today and not much beats turning the music up and cruis'en on the road glide. Looks like I may see what it would cost to up the power some, change the cam tensioner and some other odds and ends on the 99 and fall in love all over again. But at least I know now that if I do get the itch to look at something newer it will be in the touring line.

My electra glide will be old enough to drink this year.
