I used to live in Austin and went to ROT rally twice in the past and liked seeing all the custom bikes and the overall atmosphere. However rode to Myrtle Beach bike rally this year after relocating to NC and it is a whole different level of madness ...

Last time I rode to Austin my voltage regulator crapped out, lol. The humidity and traffic in that town are just awful even during non rally times.

I saw a lot of bikes come thru town looking like they were headed to Austin.

Haven't ever been to ROT and don't plan to go. Don't like big crowds...TOO many COPS!!

The only Cops I've ever seen at ROT were at the gates.

Just got home from ROT. I'll work tomorrow then be out there all weekend. Better than most rallies I have been to. Always a good time.

May be hot during the day, but it was Beautiful this evening, couldn't ask for better weather.

Creedence Clearwater Revival was Fantastic

I am staying right on 6th street. I flew in for another event, but there were a decent amount of bikes around town last night. Lots of bikes parked at the hotel I am at. I am expecting 6th street to be pretty busy tonight. Big LE presence last night as well...
