I have a set of Vance & Hines twin slash slip ons arriving tomorrow for my 11' ultra. No other mods (for the time being) What can I expect. Conflicting opinions on the need to remap although most of what I read indicate is not necessary if only slip ons as a mod.
Any thoughts?

Might want to install an Xied or Vied to get better fueling -- "for off road only"
First thing I added to my RKC when I got it. You won't need to do anything else until you change the headers or air cleaner. I finally completed the stage 1 and kept these slip ons. You'll like them. Great quality chrome and nice deep sound even without the other mods.
Pipes arrived as expected. They went on easy enough. Sound good in the garage. Beers after work kept me from taking it out. That I'll do tomorrow. I was a little surprised to see the following sticker on the box the pipes came in.
I have the same slip-on's along with the V&H Power Dual Headers & a Screaming Eagle High Flow Air System. The bike runs better and the throttle response is also better. Over all I am very happy with my setup. I'm sure you will really like the V&H slip-on's as well.

I’m originally from Calif and they have the strictest dumb *** laws . All screaming Eagles are Calif. approved. Ya can’t have loud pipes but you can burn your cities down, go figure.
I put V&H on my 2019 Heritage 114 the twin slash slip on’s. Ya they were loud but they didn’t go past the saddle bags. I’m putting on S&S with DB sound reducer.
