There were led tail lights, brake lights on the trike when I bought it. This morning in my preride check I have tail lights and turn signals back there but no brake lights other than the tour pac brake lights.
These were the type that flashed 3 times when you applied the brakes. Now no brake flashing or brake lights. Would a relay be the first thing to replace?
If the brake light flashing module was OEM, it should be in the service manual. If it was aftermarket, then follow the wiring from the rear brake line switch.

I found a white 8 pin connector with something under heat shrink tubing. From my flash module search before I made this post the connector looked like it so I disconnected it. Now the brake lights work on the 2 tail lights.
I can't find a brand name or manufacturer so I know who made it for replacement. Any suggestions here?
Thanks for your help so far it has been great.
*EDIT* I removed one of the tail light lenses and found Kuryakyn under the lens. $70 for a bit of wiring seems like a lot especially for it not to work after 2 years.
*EDIT 2* Tracing the wiring further back I found a black cube Could this be the actual controller that flashes the lights?

Yes, the black cube is the controller.
They get hot when they do their thing, if someone is pumping the brake handle or extra stepping the peddle because he knows he has "flashing" brake light and want's people to see him,, well the poor thing overheats and fries
