Yes I am capable of figuring out what do on my own, but maybe someone has some idea I wouldn't think of. What would you do?
Scenario:
You're invited to a summer picnic. Forecast is clear, sunny, humid, hot. Let's say 90degrees and sunny.
The outdoor party/bbq is from noon to 4iis. It's an hour or so away and a nice ride. You'd love to take the bike, and ride only in jeans and your boots. You know you'll be baking and uncomfortable in jeans/boots during the BBQ. Talk about swamp ***.
Do you suck it up and party miserably in your jeans, take a pair of shorts to change into, or have some other better idea? Thanks.
Might look into a pair of pants with Zip off legs but honestly most guys just suck it up and wear the jeans...We are in Chicago..It is summer..Hot and humid is something we arnt used to but if you think of the folks down south who ride alot in the heat and humidity..Navada,Texas,Florida. to name a few...Ruff Stuff...
Good Luck with that Swamp ***...
I wear lightweight shorts under the jeans when I am going to be in that situation. When I park the bike, the jeans come off. Just have to be careful not to grab too many layers of clothes!

Reason: Change smilie
Cowboy up and join the PGR. Then come back and tell us about being uncomfortable. Try standing a flag line for a couple hours in high 90's and boo koo humidity or 20 degrees, many times lower than that.
In any case enjoy your outing but PLEASE don't go the Speedo route....
I would think the bring shorts route. The other thing to think about, and don't slam me, is are you going to be drinking? If I take the truck, I would have a few adult sodas. If the bike was to come out, it would be kiddie sodas. I never mix beer and bike.
