Why don't you buy a used, lower end model that does the same thing and mount that to your motorcycle?
Because I stream and streaming requires data. Data requires a data plan. I don't see the point in buying a second phone and sharing, it'll just cost to much.
My question was will the sun damage the screen and it looks like it won't. Since the Note 4 has such a big screen, I may just buy a screen protector and since the phone is in a RAM mount, adjust the screen so that it's not so much in the sun.
Sun glare will not damage a phone screen. But, the sun can over heat the phone. My iPhone will shutdown and display a warning message if it gets too hot. Sitting in the sun on a hot day this happens after 30 minutes.
I can't mount a phone to my handlebar anymore. I was getting carried more and more away what between drinking Jack n Coke from my drink holder with one hand and texting and riding with the other hand. I didn't almost crash but I didn't have any hands left to smoke my cigar and that bothered me. I like cigars. So I had to give one of them up and the Jack n Coke and Cigar won over texting. I thought I solved the problem by trying to use Siri to voice text but the wind noise kept making her spell funny words. Then I thought "Wow, wouldn't FaceTime be awesome???!!!!", but my girlfriends always wanted to have iPhone sex and that kept giving me a hard on at traffic lights.

Grandpa! Please get off the computer and give me a hand. The horse needs a shoe, the wagon wheel needs grease, the outhouse is full and the fence on the back 40 needs mending. That won't get done with you chatting on the computer all day....
Doesn't your Goldwing come with a shaded Iphone compartment? And
to think there's a thread making fun of guys wearing shorts while riding and you're worried about your cellphone screen.
