I have a 07 Street Glide I'm trying to put a Truck Lite brand led headlight in.. It just slips right through my outter trim ring and won't stay in...I was told it's a direct replacement.. I know the HD brand daymaker comes with a new mounting bracket.. My new light doesn't have places for it to be held in by screws like the old one... Any help would be great... Thanks
Is the housing still stock? Find a bracket, double check fitment before you purchase. The truck lite sales person should have double checked the year and compatibility.
Look for something similar to this?
When I ordered it from amazon it said it was a match for my year and make... It doesn't have the little tabs for the screws to hold it to the headlight bucket like the OEM one does... I don't get it others say it's a direct drop in product.. Thanks for the reply..
you need to transfer the mounting hardware and trip ring from the other light
I remr getting stumped somehow when I put in mine..I don't remr how but it seems like that was it...your prob is simple and obvious once you see what you did wrong
