Okay, no laughs, BUT.. Another option is to get couple pair of synthetic-wicking underwear. You wash them in a sink, hang overnight, and they dry in morning..i'm talking 350 plus miles a day trips..
jockey, haines, wickers, etc sell them. And, yes they work on long rides!! I only pack two pair besides the ones I'm wearing...i also wear self-wicking 100% polyester long sleeve tshirt under a mesh jacket on long trips so not burning skin or dehydrating.. Hanes has them on line $7 each online..
New times is the difference , didn't have all that fancy wicking stuff when I was long hauling on 2 wheels. My riding habits and an absolute hate of interstates kept my days in the 300 to 400 mile range leaving lots of time for sight seeing and a cold brew occasionally to knock down the road dust
What time do vendors open during Rally Week? I am an early bird and if I could ride to downtown, see the vendors, get a few souvenirs and shirts then GTFO before the crowds arrive, that would be my preference.

I went out in 2012. I was downtown around 8 AM and there were some vendors stirring then.

I'm thinking the same thing. I may leave a day early and go through town and then head south.

Thats what we do, park downtown any spot you want, have the breakfast buffet at Jacks and hit the vendors around 8:30-9am. place really starts to fill up around 11am. Get down on main st at 7-8am and practice your figure eights.
Just put apes on my SG....still waiting on the longer clutch cable to show up in the mail so I will have to install that for my prep. Its got a week to get here!

Good luck with it arriving on time.
Everything I'm waiting for is on back order since companies are more worried about preparing for Sturgis than taking care of everyday business.
