Happens all too often, they are everywhere.
You don't have to have a lot going for you to get a license these days, at least not enough to actually be able to deal with all the traffic conditions that are present everywhere.
If you can get a tire good for you, but I'd be surprised if it flew.

good luck trying to get a tire. what did the cops say ? his boss? is he willing to cough up the money for a tire ? don't get me wrong i think you got a tire coming, but don't think you'll get one.

I say you should try. The company's insurance company might throw some money at you to go away. Hopefully the driver will lose his job at the least.
You may just end up wasting your time of course, but if you got some go for it. Too many times people sit back and do nothing.
Also, this happened to someone else in a cage I knew. An officer happened to be nearby and saw it all. He told the guy he is getting new tires out of the deal, it's required that their insurance cover them. He had an older tow truck without anti-lock breaks.
