does anybody try to put new water cooled head in air cooled engine, ? how hard is it to switch the head and put new coolant system?
I could be wrong, but 1) not all the parts in the heads will mate up 2), all the other parts - pump, fairing lowers, fans, wiring, etc would make this a hellishly expensive mod for very little return.
But some people are relentess and determined, and they make decisions that are not based on a rational cost/benefit basis and may have tried to do it but I'm not aware of any that have.
thanks for the answer. i asked because i didnt know if i can still exchange the parts from the new water cooled into air cooled. not like i want to exchange anything right now but just to know that those new water cooled are still exchangeable .
