Oh bullshit.
You would be surprised. I saw people doing this in front of the Wyoming Welcome sign on i90 on the route to Devils Tower. Pulling the bikes off the trailer to sit on it in front of the sign etc.

You gave words to my thoughts.

Personally I'm with AngelFire and baka. If I can't ride to the rally, I would prefer to stay home and enjoy it thru all those live cams from the comfort of my air conditioned living room. Except for people with health issues and disabilities everyone else can ride to a rally if they claim they have a bike and they ride it at least once a month. It's about the sense of achievement really when riding to something like Sturgis. I also don't buy the limited vacation time argument. If going by the road, it takes more or less the same time regardless of number of wheels. If one is so passionate about BEING at the rally and wants to save time as well, one should probably take a flight to the nearest airport instead of trailoring the bikes. If you can buy a trailer, you can most likely afford flight tickets as well. Now I respect the age factor but the truth is we have become too soft. We should see endurance of people and riding conditions in some Asian countries for a reality check. And yes in my 22 years of riding I never saw a GoldWing or Beemer rider with their bikes on a trailer either. Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough or it really is a Harley thing. The funniest $hit is, HD Touring bikes are loaded with features for creature comfort to begin with but still these are the bikes that are seen on trailers the most.

Now since my work here is done, I gotta run to keep the appointment to look at a trailer I'm thinking about getting.

There, now can we all go ride/trailer and enjoy ourselves!

Or more like, please be considerate of anyone who needs to use the rest stop facilities and is forced to wait for you to finsih unloading from the trailer thats taking up five parking spots in the No Trucks or RV section.

That's it. I could see it if you had an old timer hardtail chopper show bike but damn, doesn't anybody buy these bikes to ride them anymore?? I know they do, and these are just thoughts. Folks shouldn't take them so seriously if they really don't care what we think. If you trailer to a motorcycle event, then you should be prepared to take some flak for it. That's the way it has always been, nothing new. No offense meant to anyone here. Just something I have never understood is all...

Oh yes it happens I watched Arlen Ness and his pretty boy posse unloading about 30 miles out of Sturgis and few of them were strapping gear on and running a rag around in the dirt then dusting their pants legs with it. People do this **** seriously......

Yes I can tell. I was an avid collector of Swiss mechanical watches, considered an expert, quoted in publications, had articles written about my collection and was published. It was some time ago. Unless you know who you're talking to, I'd keep quiet.

Wow. That's pretty lame that someone would really care what people think about them enough to do that. I guess they can also catch some lightning bugs and smash them all over their shirts and stuff.

This may be the funniest thing I've ever read on here.

Pretty boy posse had me cracked up...
You should have offered to knock em down in the dirt and kick em around a bit. Put a thousand effin miles on em in 30 seconds or less...
