"Dramatic Irony: Dramatic irony is the result of the contrast between the understanding of a situation by the dramatic character and the audience. Basically, the audience understands the situation as it really is, where the character in the story is oblivious to the reality of things." http://www.sarcasmsociety.com/irony/...ize-irony.html
I was at Sturgis last year with some people from New Zealand, and one of the guys was amazed with all the trailers. He said that if someone showed up to a bike rally in his country in a trailer they would be turned away. I understand the desire to trailer your bikes, but i don't understand the need to take your living room on vacation with you. I don't understand the douce bag trailer queens who can't at least go the speed limit, or let people pass who want to get around. I have a trailer, I could afford to trailer my bikes out, but my wife and I want to ride our motorcycles to a motorcycle rally (1250 miles). I think that the hardest part to deal with is how much the trailers slow things down trying to get anywhere during a rally.
"The ones that irritate me the most are the ones that stop at a scenic spot, roll the bikes off their trailer, take pictures of them all geared up with the bike and roll the bike back on the trailer and head back out on their way. Yes this really happens. "
I see a lot of d!ck swinging going on here. I ride mine so I'm a biker, you trailer yours, so you're a poser. Wow, a lot of concern for people you don't even know or will ever meet! Why do you even care. This will settle it, all you trailerers, please don't take up 5 spots at a rest area, be considerate of the REAL bikers. There, now can we all go ride/trailer and enjoy ourselves!
I've ridden to the rally 8 times, trailered once, and will trailer next year. I have nothing to prove and I don't really care what anyone thinks. I enjoy the ride but I picked up a new toyhauler recently and I intend to use it.
Got the trailer Loaded
Afraid to ride the highway
Was lookin' for some Adventure
But the wife said no way
Yeah Darlin' wanna make it happen
The blue pill will give me that love embrace
Fired my gun just that once
But can't remember the place
I'm in the smog and jam up's
Loud pipes are a rapping
Crawling in the traffic
That guy is scary my pants I be crapping
Yeah Darlin' wanna make it happen
The blue pill will give me that love embrace
Fired my gun just that once
But can't remember the place
Like a true nature's Child
We were born , born to be mild
I won't get high
Afraid I'll get a DUI
It also irritates me when someone wears a counterfeit watch like Rolex (yes I can tell). It means that person is portraying themselves as something theyre not. They are the fakes. The posers.
As far as being angered? Hardly.
Really? Now that many of the Rolex knock-offs have sweeping second hands, it's hard to tell without holding it and seeing it up close and checking for the registration number, etc.. Can you spot knock-off Coach purses, too? LMAO I digress...
