Usually heading to a bike rally I pass them going the same direction (me in the passing lane).
I usually don't wave as I pass.
If they wave and I see it, I will return the wave.

Alternatively, I will wave to every bike as I pass.
Consider it a sign of respect or acknowledgement to someone else putting time in the saddle.

Let me help you with that misunderstanding, to an actual biker all a trailer means is either the bike's broken or it's being transported to a show and you don't feel like wasting the 20 hours or so you spent detailing it with road grime.

Pretty simple actually seeing how you mistake owners and part time riders as bikers, they are not one and the same.

Oh everybody I ever knew who bought a bike rode it home unless it was in boxes as a basket case.......................

I thought trailers were for boats. Depending on what kind of bike you have i can see trailering it across the country. I used to put my crotch rocket on a trailer for bike week, even young and dumb i knew better then to try and ride that thing 15 hours+

Tell that to the guy that just completed the Iron Butt Rally on a 250cc Kawasaki Ninja.

First of all where did I mistake bikers for owners and part time riders?

I don't have a misunderstanding, your adolescent juvenile post does nothing but support my point.

Thanks.

I especially love when people on this forum think they have the definition of "biker" cornered.

Whatever the best (or worst) definition is...I'm pretty sure trailers aren't mentioned.

They are used all of the time in what NOT constitutes a biker.

I'm not a biker by any stretch of the imagination, however, I bought my 01 in 2007 with 4000 miles on it and as of parking it today, it has 60857 miles. The wife has been packing behind me for most of those, she's 63, I'm 60, with 5 back surgeries, and a quadruple heart bypass, and been to Sturgis a time or 2, but the only trailer time mine has seen has been when the bike decided she had had enough and broke down, lol! Not slammin anyone for hauling them, we just prefer to ride.
