Default Has anyone...
...compared the new carbon Fiber helmet to a normal Harley D.O.T helmet? I am looking into buying one in exchange for my Skid Lid. My concenrn is that It will look the same as a Harley D.O.T. Thoughts and suggenstions are greatly appreciated.

Thought the CF had the 'mesh effect' of that material, and the stock DOT did not.

To me, although carbon fiber, it looks darn near just like the other Harley D.O.T. hemets with regard to initial appearance and size. It's definitely lighter. But seems to have (at least to me) the same (maybe a little less; not much) bulk to it. Just my take.

Ya, I guess I am talking about the "bulkiness" of the helmets.
I know it is safer, but I am just not into looking like Kazoo!!
