I had my Ducati up to 115 mph and I had another gear left. Tell him he should ride the Ducati like it was meant to be ridden or trade it in for a cruiser.

Not sure about this Ducati guy, but I saw some youngster on a Kawi 600(I'm guessing, but it looked like a ZX-6R) passing about five cars from a stop at an intersection as the light went green. Went right up the right shoulder like it was nothing, immediately in front of a row of cars perpendicular to his direction of travel. He was wearing a wife beater, shorts, basketball shoes, and a helmet. I'm not making a generalization, as some of the the most careful riders I have known rode sportbikes and some of the drunkest riders I've ever met road H-D, but this guy had splat mentality written all over him. As a newb rider and a funtional human being, I wouldn't even think of doing such a thing.
Sat. morning on my way to work at 0615, thought "Ah what the hell, let's see how fast I can get up to 100 just for ***** and giggles" I made it up to 100 and started to gently ease it down when less than a 1/2 mile down the road is a LEO, got me at 77 in a 55. Ticketed me for 65 in 55, $122.
Moral of the story, speeding tickets suck so I'll just keep it at 60-65 on the two lane, oh ok, maybe up to 70 every now and then.
