Hey guys i dont post on here much as i can usually read other peoples post and figure **** out....my question to you guys esp ones that may have a bit more experience in this is, i am currently running a screaming eagle 103 in my 2000 FLSTC and i am going to put some money into the engine as it seems my piston rings might be going(little puff of white smoke when shifting only) but anyways i figure while im in there might as well do something...i was looking at the fuel moto 107 kit and wondering if anyone had any experience with that, also maybe just cams what would be the best bang for the buck im looking at a budget of 3-4K. any help is greatly appreciated
Thinking cams will give you the most noticeable bump in performance and bang for the buck like you said.
I believe this and have heard it several times.
Of course there is an urge to bump up size at the same time you are in there. I would want an increase in cubes each time I go in, most would like that also. If you are trying to put less money in though that is not necessarily the way to go. If money is not a concern then throw at least a 120 in there!
