Nice, I didn't notice that at first. My older brothers chopper had the 17" front. His springer had the twisted upper legs.

Still have one of those in the shed somewhere with that tiny Hurst Airheart rotor on it

That was a big deal when it first came out. We built one bike with a mechanical disc brake caliper off of some Japanese bike; can't remember the source donor now. Did another one using a buddy's bicycle disc brake caliper; he'd crashed & pretzled the bicycle and I scarfed the rear brake bits and pieces. It wasn't for stopping the bike and wouldn't even hold it on any kind of slope, but it did make it "legal", LOL.
