Had the HD Daymaker on my Road Glide and very bright at night. For the price I would go with the Truck Lite 7 which I have on my Road King. Different bikes (RG has frame mounted fairing) so presented a problem for me in tight twisties. TL on the Road King does a much better job of dispersing light where it is needed. JMO.
I had to do some soldering on the harness and it was a PITA to get back in the bucket, but it's bright and worth the effort for what I paid for it.
Hey man would you be willing to send some pictures of what you did to get it to fit in the bucket. I got the same light and was just about to start taking a Drexel to the back of it to give some more clearance. Also did you use the silver ring with the grooves?

No ring. I just put the nut on the retaining/trim screw as loose as I could get it then pushed it on the bucket. Pushed in on the headlamp and held it in place with a wood clamp then tightened the screw. I had to keep pressure on the the light to keep it from popping out. I was a royal PITA but I got it in.

Has anyone bought and used or seen the day maker headlight from Baggers Bag Inc? you can get them for like a 3rd of the price and I was curious of the quality or if they are exactly the same as hd day maker headlight.
Bagger Bags ? Is this for real? I can't believe they can call something a -
"Harley Davidson Daymaker Headlight " and undercut the pricing by so much that they aren't getting shot with flaming arrows by the Moco. :icon
