Default I HATE waiting for shipped items!

8 days ago I bought a Sundowner seat for my Sporty, because the stock seat feels like a piece of cardboard after about 20 minutes. Of course the only one I could find was in California, the other side of the country.

The US Postal Svc received it, and it took FIVE DAYS before it left CA. Today was supposed to be the delivery date, but I have no clue where it is now. 7 days and counting. I'm doing a 3 hour ride tomorrow, it would've been so nice to do it on the new seat.

Well that's my first world problem this week.

I like the wait. I've almost always got something coming from Amazon. It amazes my wife that she can say she needs something and it shows up in the mail a few days later unexpectedly. Of course it's just a ploy to hide all the bike parts I get online LOL

Years ago, I used to live in a "Ten Day Town" ("It's not in stock, but we can have it for you in 10 days"). Now, you can get almost anything (under 70 lbs, anyway) shipped to your doorstep overnight, if you're willing to pay for it. And unless you're a model citizen, save on sales/use tax, too.

Just putting things in perspective, is all...

I took a chance, at least it's a used seat that wasn't too expensive. I'm 6'0" so the height will be OK, though I don't necessarily want to be higher. It'll be interesting to see if it makes using my windshield better or worse.

I already wish my forward controls were further forward. Dang.

Yea, I hate waiting as well. Like Xmas. I bought a couple items recently from Amazon and they sent me a UPS tracking number. Interesting though, it does not come up on UPS's tracking site. It is coming a different UPS (?) way via mail???

But yea, tracking numbers are great to find where your stuff is at or not. Good luck on the seat and have a fun ride.

I got the sundowner seat back when I had my street bob, I didn't like how it sat me up and pushed me forward. Made my mini apes feel like normal bars again. Rode with it once then sold it off on ebay :/ (Personal preference made me sell it, awesome seat otherwise)

Enjoy the seat hopefully it comes soon!
