I get that all the time - on more than one occasion have I hit the horn and said something to people I see texting only to get flipped off when I do...and what's worse is that it's ILLEGAL to text and drive in MD and yet I am the idiot for reminding them of it!!
Somehow, I've gotten in the habit of just honking the crap out of my horn when next to or behind someone I see texting while driving. It's probably useless but for one second, I sure made them panic and freak out and put their eyes back on the road. Maybe one day they'll realize how quick things happen when your eyes are off the road and they'll put the fricking phones down.
Heck, I have enough f a problem texting wile sitting on my couch without misspelling a bunch of words. I can not even start to imagine doing it while on my scoot... much less how dangerous it is. Salvage title bikes on the rise.
I've caught people on this forum texting and riding their Harley while taking pictures that they post. Reflections in the glass show the rider used both hands to take the picture with his phone while doing 70 MPH. So even the people here do it.
HAH, that's true. I remember at least 2 pictures like that. When the OP was called out for it, he back peddled and tried to deny it, but pictures don't lie.

It's called risk assessment, and someone driving like this is a much higher risk than someone who is not.
