I've been on bikes for 14 years I just need people to be more considerate
14 years...I've got sneakers that old. Plus in Ontario that computes to about 4 years of riding. Just learn to take the good with the bad or you're just going to be pissed all the time. Have fun and speed safely.
If they are going the speed limit you've got nothing to whine about.

And this.
And no one is forcing anyone to "make risky passing attempts". Slow down, enjoy life, and realize the couple minutes you might save on your drive isn't worth driving like a mad man and putting yourself and others in danger.

Seems like you ride in an area where group riding is prevalent. If in fact this is a real concern for you, perhaps it time for you to move since the majority is not in your favor.
Or more likely, you just thought this thread would turn out differently when you chose to post it.
When I pull up on a group ride, I check out the chicks, yall' take as long as you like....
You would love the group rides around here when the Devil Staircase event is going on. Everybody rides like a bat out of hell getting there. Like 50-60 bikers groups running red lights and 4 way stops. One ride like that broke me from group rides.
If you knew anything about riding in a pack, you would not have posted this.
I don't know about group rides because I don't do them, because every time I am in a rush for whatever reason I get stuck behind a large group ride that are seeming impossible to pass

Nope just a volunteer firefighter that could not help somebody that needed it because a large group ride refused to move over and make space even though I had my green light flashing
