Compared to some of the Harley jackets, that one is pretty understated. Looks good. It also has the triple vent system, I have one of those jackets and the vents work really well.
Since you're buying a new bike I'd ask the dealer about a discount - when I bought my King the dealer gave me a $100 coupon towards any leather jacket.

Sticks, I have the same jacket. I bought my first Harley recently, and I wanted a Harley jacket that's not too obnoxious like some others I've seen. This jacket seems to be a good compromise for not being too loud with the HD logos. The leather quality seems good as well.
The H-D web store shows a pretty cool new leather jacket called the Carboy... it's probably the "quietest" H-D jacket I've ever seen. If I ever see one in the stores I might just buy it.
I really dislike how HD brands every little thing. Some like it, I don't. I grew up wearing skate clothes and the like where everything had a big logo or brand name on it. Not anymore, I just want all my stuff plain and clean.

They had a lonestar one that had no big labels. I was thinking of getting one about a year ago but I couldn't justify the price tag. I like that carboy one better though.
The only HD jacket I have is a textile jacket with armor that was on the sale rack. It was so cheap I could not pass it up, but I have yet to wear it and I have had it for about 6 months. When I went back to the dealer I noticed the rest of the same jackets were off the sale rack, so I think it might have been put there by mistake.
Edit: I also have an HD heated jacket but I always wear it underneath a sweatshirt. Bought that with a gift card I got when I bought my wife's bike. Works good.

I will be picking up my first Harley very soon, and was wanting a Harley leather jacket. I found the one I like, and it is $638.00 Canadian! Ouch! My son was begging me not to get some very loud Harley jacket. I showed him the one I like, and he was good with it.
Been riding for a lot of year, the last 10 on HDs. I've got hd gloves and that's about it. Never wanted the jacket for the billboard reason, but was very tempted by this one when I tried it on in the dealership about a month ago. If I was to ever get an HD jacket, this would be the one. Fit great, triple vents ...

That's the jacket I have. I used Sno-Seal on it and a heat gun to waterproof it a little bit better and darken up all the logos. I might cut off some of the patches so there's not as many Harley logos. It has a ton of vents on it so if it warms up you can get good air flow. It also is compatible with armor so that's a plus. Its definitely a riding jacket and not just for looks.
