Is Harley leather jackets good quality ?
I'm not a real big fan of paying for a name brand, but I tried on a Harley jacket at the dealer and it fits perfect.
Should I get it or would I be better to get a different brand in the same price range ?

I just don't know how it will fit me if I order it.
All the elcheapo ones I've tried on are stiff as armor.

had mine for 4+ yrs now and still like it. really don't wear it much, still looks and works as new.
Wait till spring will sometimes save U $$$, sometimes big sales on last yr stuff, got mine at 50% off. well worth that amount.

I have a 4 harley brand jackets I bought used off ebay. Got lucky they all fit and saved a few bucks.(I know I'm like a women and their shoes I have a bunch of jackets I've aquired over many years.) I would rate them as good to very good quality a little over priced. There are a few brands out there that are. better for that kind of money.
Do a search there was a recent thread about jacket quality. If you like that jacket go for it. It's not like you are gonna find the same style and quality for a whole lot less maybe $ 275 or so.

Agreed on the overpriced thing. HD outsources their clothing to other manufacturers. Find out who makes them and get something similar for a reasonable price. I know their boots are Wolverines, and think their lids are HJC.

Got my brand new HD leather on fleabay for less than 1/2 the listed price of
$479, paid $200 plus ship, still had the tags.. Plus it was Made in AMERICA.
Not sure if they still sell any made in the good old USA anymore..
