Has anyone bought the HD Andy boot. I know its overpriced but I am looking for a better protection, waterproof boot that can be worn in all climates and for walking.
As far as I know, HD boots are made by Wolverine. They won't have all the badging from HD, but they won't have the premium price upgrade, either. Check their website to see if they are selling the same ones you're looking for.
I wear a 12-year old pair of Bates boots. They're comfortable, tough, have a great sole for grabbing asphalt at a light, and they're made in the US. They're not cheap, but hey... 12 years and still rolling!
Wesco and Whites probably make the most bulletproof boots in the world. However, if you want to spend $400 up on a pair of boots I recommend something like these:
100% waterproof (Gore-Tex lined), comfortable (made for hiking), made in the USA.
BTW:
HD boots suck. Had a pair and although they were quite comfortable, the soles wore out in less than a year. Made in China pieces of crap...

+1 on the Danner boots. Maybe not the particular model shown above but they do make a great boot in many different styles. I like their tactical line for riding. Lite, waterproof, and tough as nails.

Look really nice but they do not have added motorcycle protection.
