Sounds like the dealers around here. They tried to sell me a 2006 Road King for $12.5k "on sale" from $14.5. Instead I ended up buying a 2010 RKC for less than $10k that had a little over 14,000 on the odometer in a private sale. My favorite was the 1998 Ultra that another dealer had for almost $12k....

The only vehicle I'd buy with more than 100K on the clock would be a Camry or Impala or something that is known to just run like the energizer bunny.
I love my Harley, but Harleys are not really known as high mileage machines that can just keep on going without some significant maintenance along the way, and consequently are not going to fetch any decent dollars (unless the right person comes along). JMO
