Experiences from a trip Oct. 8-17, 2015 in Kansas are:
I-70 is a breeze to travel as you can see where you will be in 20 miles.
I-35 from I-70 to the Oklahoma border is excellent. I-35 is a toll road which means you take a ticket when you get on and pay when you leave the toll road. Easy for riders to deal with.
Almost everything about Kansas sucks. Ive lived here for 31 years for some reason. There is some good riding to be had. All back roads stuff though, i70 and 35 aren't exactly my cup of tea.
Flint Hills are beautiful, there's a host of good rides on the KS/MO line, and we have the best BBQ in the country. All indelible facts. Pretty much anything West of Salina from north to south sucks *****.
