Ok guys, I have a quick scenario and would like some input. I've been lucky enough over the years for this to be the first time an issue like this has come up. Seller posts item for sale in marketplace section, we agree on price and i send payment. Guy is super friendly, ships out package and provides tracking number. a couple days later the USPS tracking information says delivered, left on porch. I contact the seller to double check address the items were shipped to and says its right and everything should be good. I told him if he gets the packaged returned to him to let me know. That was a week ago, my question what options do i have?? or what would you do?? I appreciate the input
I try to never use USPS, After several years of lost ,missing ,damaged, destroyed. And getting stuff clearly addressed to someone else. I have no faith in the Post Office. Oh,I did hand deliver the pharmaceutical package to the rightful recipient. Must have been a dozen bottles of pills in it! And they want me to get mine that way, No fn way!
Your seller sounds like he's on the up and up. He gave you the tracking number which should show you the address to which it was delivered and the fact of delivery. Sadly, it sounds like it was stolen off of your porch. That is not your seller's problem nor USPS. Even if it was insured, I don't know if that will do you any good since it wasn't lost in transit. It was delivered to you.
Sorry that happened to you. I had a birthday gift delivered to my son by FedEx (the delivery company has nothing to do with it) and it was delivered to his apartment and he never got it. Lots of scum out there that will pick up a box and walk away with it.
Happened to me before. Post office said sub driver must have delivered to the wrong address. They never found it. Luckily it was through an online reseller not private party. New product came FedEx. It sucks.
Yeah, the seller seems like a great guy, good communication through the whole process. Just bummed is all, i figured it got delivered to a neighbor or something and they would have brought it by my house by now. Appreciate the input fella's
