I live in a place in the philippines where there is no HD service center, am planning to change my pipes to a Vance and Hines Shortshots Staggered Full exhaust system ..I heard you also have to install a Fuel Pak3 , or at least have it tuned? is it not possible to just install the new exhaust pipes, and thats it? will it harm my engine? will it alter the performance of my bike? whats the worst that could happen? anyone please, i need advice on this..Thank you so much in advance...My bike is 2016 HD Iron883
As long as you just install the pipes and do nothing to the air intake you'll be fine to ride it without adding a FP3 or other tuner,
tHANKS thats great!, nice to know..now all i have to do is get a nice Exhaust pipes...Any suggestion? i want a not so loud pipe, but definitely not the silent type like the stock pipes

Your original post mentioned installing V&H Shortshots?
Now your wanting to know what would be nice exhaust pipes?
The ShortShots are a full system, and nothing else is needed.
So, not sure what your after. Or are you just wanting other suggestions?
Also, those ShortShots will be "Loud"!
I had them on a previous FatBob I had. The looked good, and sounded good but just ended up being too loud for me.

I did mention that am planning to install a V&H shortshots, cause it looks good on a Iron883, but yes, am afraid that its too loud... and yes I want other suggestions..Thank you
I have short shots and put the quiet baffles in them. It was way too loud for me too but the baffles made them a lot more mellow unless you really get on the gas.

I saw in one of the dealers of Vance and Hines that the Quiet Baffles for Iron883 were already discontinued or has been phased out? is it still available? may I know where I can order one? Thank you
THE V&H SHORT SHOTS ARE KINDA LOUD. I HAVE A SET ON MY STREET BOB AND I'M LOOKING FOR SOMETHING QUIETER...
Seriously, if I didn't have the Short Shots on mine when I bought it, I'd never put them on. I think springtime will be exhaust shopping time for me...I know you can play with the baffles and whatnot, but I'm just not a huge fan.
