My thoughts for Joe & his family.
Both my stepdad and half-brother suffered brain aneurysms which burst. Brother was 1st at age 20. Stepdad had his operated on in his late 60's. Neither was ever the same. Brother lasted a little over 20 days or so. Stepdad - 6 months. You could look in their eyes while they were conscious and see that things were not working normally. Had brotherlived, he would have required assisted living care the rest of his life. He couldn't even feed himself. Stepdad, the first time I saw him after the surgery, I knew right away the man who had raised me and taught me stuff was gone.
