Fix for broken switch.

I did the same thing a few years ago. If you look closely at the switch, you will see a little bump where there used to be a small teet about 1/8 in long.

To repair, I bought a nylon screw the same diameter as the little teet that broke off. About 3/32 if I remember correctly, just take a quick measurement when you are in there. Then cut it to length and use some good epoxy to attach. I have been running mine for a few years, about 20K miles and it has held up fine.

Or you can change the switch, not particularly difficult, just a pain.

i admit it. i broke mine too. the way i fixed mine was to drill a small hole in the brake lever and then screw a small screw in there so that the 'button head' would act as the 'tit' to depress the switch.
