Brake light switch. Switch is in right brake handle when brake handle is open the switch is depressed and when it is pulled in switch is released causing brake light to come on. \\; There is a clip that holds \\;switch in place \\; that is notorious for falling out. \\; Take brake lever off and manuallly check switch, careful when taking brake lever off or you will brake the switch. \\;
don't feel bad went through the same thing when I changed my bars, did you shim the brake lever with you took it apart otherwise you might have broken the switch.
