I'll keep em for now. Found em on Craigslist for cheap when I got the bike. We'll see some other day, I like the 9 round spoke chrome of the 07 cvo...still can't figure out how to upload a video...
tmanbuckhunter, thanks.
I am a believer in the S&S tuned pipes. Never knew they made those like that for an old lowly evo. Between that and all the other little this and thats I believe this is gonna be a damn strong engine. I did get some chatter out of the rear cylinder rockers last night when I was breaking it in, so we are going to re adjust the pushrods tonight. All the small things will get hit this week, and next Saturday we ride!

When my evo was freshly rebuilt, it sounded stronger than any TC running the streets. It's just a lowly 80"er with some head work and a cam too. I beat on it pretty hard but almost 30k later since early 2014 it still sounds and runs like a raped ape when I'm not breaking it.

Not sure if this will work or not but here is a link I think to a video after we broke in the motor and just adjusting the carb a bit...must say I am tickeled with the way this sounds. I can't wait to ride it but it snowed again last night.

Well, I ran out of bolts about the same time I ran out of parts last night. Going to get the paint sanded and buffed tonight and might try to sneak it down the highway if the ice melts today. Ended up with a gremlin in the right turn signal. Supposed to snow lots next week so I'll figure it out the hopefully. I kinde dig it!
