Damn, that looks fantastic. I knew when I first started reading this thread you were gonna' create a Killer King! Like you, I also run the Ultra Lower Fairings and apes. Though that's not a terribly common setup, I think its what really makes Kings look.....right. But that's just me. Kudos on a great build.
Well, I ran out of bolts about the same time I ran out of parts last night. Going to get the paint sanded and buffed tonight and might try to sneak it down the highway if the ice melts today. Ended up with a gremlin in the right turn signal. Supposed to snow lots next week so I'll figure it out the hopefully. I kinde dig it!
I am truly Amazed at your skills, and the time line on the build, I don't think a full time shop could do a turn around like this in 25 days...Awesome work man
Couple pics from the driveway...I got a few miles on it but the wind was making things a bit sketchy with the sand on the road. Out by my place they dump it by the truckload. Top end was awesome mid was flat, gonna need to order some jets today. I also noticed the left blinker started working after I plugged in the headlight last night...huh. I got it all sanded down last night, and I'll finish the buffing tonight. Just a few little things left.
Oh so you HAVE TO show the previous owner, and update us

Agreed. I was thinking of lowering it, but hell I'm 300lbs and 6 ft tall. Rides right the way it is, and I think too the lowers serve a purpose and help the looks. And the apes, only way to go. You have a damn sharp king too. I might have to look into your light setup.

Thank you. One thing about the time it took, we took a couple nights off for beer drinking and problem solving (in that order), and a weekend off as well. Shortly after we started this the wife gets a flat and an engine light...I get a flat and brake lines needed replaced in the truck...daughters car wont start and it was 4 below...Brothers kids car needed wheel bearings...damn we spent two days working on cages in between!! Oh, and this full time job is really cutting into my fun!

I did. He's a friend of mine. He stopped the other night. Walked in to the shop about 3 feet and just stopped. He stared for about 3 minutes, walked around it 5 or 6 times, shook his head and never said another word about it. It was a great time!! He's got a nice ultra now though. My last project was a 2001 Ultra he got cheap and we did the same thing to that on. Turned out pretty damn nice, long list of upgrades starting with the MM setup...Here's a pic of that one...
