IMO, In the long run I think you will regret it. I went taller with mine so I'd stop pealing back the top oh my head. As far as resale goes I think you will definitely have an issue. Also if you are out somewhere and you have to work on the bike with crappy weather it will be a real hassle.
Good luck with it.

I still ride and leave it in hotel parking lots so I am probably over analyzing this.
When I was in Sturgis back in 2013, I slept on the ground in a 2 person dome tent while my bike slept in the trailer overnight. A few nights laying there with a storm hitting me I thought the bike should be outside with a cover and I should be in the trailer.

I would say go the 6 ft. Your forehead will thank you. You also get a longer door with the taller trailer, less chance of bottoming when you load. I think resale will be better also.

I like when people ask for advice and then ignore it.

Me? I'm not ignoring it, just was hoping for someone who bought one to chime in. It is a lot of money to spend on something I won't use that much so am looking for a general consensus.

One of the reasons I went with a modular trailer was I too wanted to be able to get it in my garage. Other than when I first got it, it's never been in the garage.
Get the 6 footer.

I like my 5' because when I take the whole family on vacation I have to trailer my bike instead of riding it. I can get the 5' inside the parking garage at the condo

I have an enclosed trailer. Mine is 6 foot and I wouldn't go any shorter. My last one was 5 and I hated it. All that being said, I'm 6'2.

Everything I store in the trailer is already out of the weather and trailer is made for outdoor use

No regrets, I only needed to haul one bike at a time and my 5x8 (10' with V-nose) is perfect for doing just that. I have enough space in it for all my gear/tents,cooler even with the Street Glide in it. It's rides easy behind a 2 door Jeep Wrangler and is light enough to jockey around on pavement by myself.

I went with a 7x14 V nose, 5 ft tall for the same reason. The first year and half parked it in the garage (pulled in with tailgate facing garage door and used it for storage.) HOA went thru a major overhaul, submitted a request to park it in my enclosed 6 ft tall back yard and they approved it! Regrets none and I can ride the Ultra and the wife's Dyna in it no problem. I'm 6'2.
