Lots of people say to either sit on a similar bike with bars and judge to tall / short and, you know it will happen, add 2" to your pick. Most complain that they should of went taller. I love my Wild-1 Chubby 12" mini-apes. They are 1 1/4" diameter. Im 6 foot and have them pushed as far forward as I can without rubbing the windshield and they feel great. I bet you would like them.
I have had good results with Carlini. They seem to be high quality and have very fine finishes. This is my third bike to use them on. They have been helpful and quick to ship each time. They make a number of styles. Might could get some ideas from the website.
