I heard nothing but good things about Mustang seats. That and Air Hawks.

I have a Mustang solo with an adjustable backrest on my Street Glide and 800 mile days are no problem. I just picked up an Airhawk and an Alaska Leather sheepskin to see which I like better...

BTW, I'm 6', 240, with a 32" inseam and my SG fits me great. The Mustang helped over the stock seat, but even the stocker wasn't that bad.

They're pretty good. I have a Mustang Supertouring which put me back almost 2 more inches. It transformed the bike to the extent that I'm perfectly happy with the stock bars. I sent it to Mean City Cycles and had it lowered an inch so that I could use - yes - an Airhawk. I borrowed a buddies and it really helped for comfort. The downside is it put me a little higher in the saddle. Now it's not an issue.

IN addition to the Mustang, I have a RSD Enzo 2 up saddle (pictured below). Not sure why they call it a 2 up as I have yet to meet the woman that could handle that for more than 5 miles. That said, for me it's great. It sets me back and down even more than the Mustang and for anything under 200 miles, it's pretty comfortable. It's my favorite seat to ride on.

What I'd suggest you do is sit on different model bikes, have someone take a picture of you and look to see which one you think you look best on size wise, then take it from there as far as forward controls etc. I always get a kick out of some of these real big guys riding sporty's.

I'm 6'5" and have tried out a few of HDs current bikes (except Sportsters) and found that the one bike that seems as though I could just get on it and ride is the Breakout. It just feels right. I'd like to take one on a long ride.
My 2015 RGS was so uncomfortable when I got it that I considered getting rid of it before 1000 miles. Changed the seat (3 times), the controls (+ 2 inches ), and the windscreen (19"). I'm finally happy thanks to the changes and my Mustang seat. And it only cost me about a grand!

Were exactly the same size..
* I owned a Heritage - I was very comfortable on this bike even with the stock seat
* I own a RK - Have a Hammock on her.. Its like a barkalounger...
* I rode a XL1200c - ya know what, with the factory forwards, it was ok!

That's funny - I'm 6' even and when I was shopping, I sat on the Breakout and said, "Man, this thing looks good but it's a REACH to the damn bars!" I can see how it would be a good fit for someone 6'4" or taller...

Bars are usually the easiest thing to change. Finding the right seat can be a pain in the *** (literally). I had to make my own seat for my FXR but I fit now!

You might consider Forward controls for whatever you buy.
I had 8 Heritage Softails over the years and the '09 and '12 I had got to where they were difficult for long distance riding. Seemed to be sitting on the bones of my butt with my feet up too high, adding to the discomfort.
Move on to the '13 Road King. It was the same way. Knees in my face, as well.
Move on to the '14 Street Glide, same thing until I installed Accutronix Forwards.
Now, a comfortable ride. Knees are a little high but better than stock floor-board height. (1" lower would be GREAT!!)
I did move these over to a '15 Ultra Classic, great ride as well.
By the way, I'm 6'3" and #220, so I'm no liteweight.
