Way better then t-shirts, both for cost and space in the tour pak when on a vacation. The "Dip Dots" are becoming harder to find, I have a nice collection inside my tour pak, but probably only 35% of the dealerships currently have them, poker chips have become the norm and they all seem to have them. I like them, just got a couple from the dealership in Fairbanks, Alaska last week. Fun harmless collection not taking up too much room. The factories and the Museum also have poker chips.
just something else the HD can market for you to dig into your bank account some more. they should make condoms then atleast you can literally say you've been f*cked by Harley Davidson
For your statement to be true that would mean you would have to be a catcher and not a pitcher. Just saying.
Just an inexpensive gizmo for me. If nothing else, it's an excuse to give you a destination of somewhere to ride. I'm up to about 20 now. Our rule is you gotta ride there to get one. No eBay buying.

I agree 100%, you need to be there no cheating. I felt the same way about the t-shirts, stopped wearing the ones people bought me but I was never there. Doesn't really matter, just have fun and enjoy. A poker chip is not going to hurt anyone.
I've got a couple from dealerships I've stopped at when I'm on vacation (Sturgis and Las Vegas). Both times they were a impulse buy cause they were near the cash register, which I assume was the idea.
If we see a Harley Dealer during our travels, we will try to stop and buy a poker chip. Nice to collect and you might even meet some great folks. It's always a bonus when the dealers are having an event where you can have a meal, listen to a local band and again meet some great people.
I have a problem with collecting things. HD t-shirts -- wife says I have over 100. Now collecting the chips. I also collect die cast motorcycles - have about 170 of those. Collect cameras. Ten are sitting behind my office desk - ranging from 1920s vintage to 1990s. Why? Who the hell knows. As a friend once said, I'm a stuff person.
Edit: Just did a quick check - I actually have over 200 die-cast motorcycles now. Sheesh. Gotta stop that.
