When I hit a new shop I normally pick up a couple of chips, a shirt and a pin for my vest. Yeah it's a little overboard but you may never be there again.

I thought you got a free service when you collected enough of those chips.

buddy and I seem to take an annual trip each year and up to last year, we bought tees. we started buying chips last year...cheaper and easier to pack. I have 3 drawers full of t-shirts I don't wear! yeah....whatever.... but it will be nice to display somewhere and remember the various trips. plus it gives us another reason to take a couple of rides.
Like everything else, who cares?! if it makes you happy, that is all that's important.

I just started collecting the chips. I have 2 from dealers I have actually been to, but the other two are cheaters. One came with my order from Boardtracker HArley, the other was sent to along with a t-shirt in a t-shirt swap on another forum. That one was from Cajun Harley in Louisiana. I will keep collecting them. I may even take a pic holding it in front of the dealer as proof of visit.

I collect them and get them by going to the dealer and also doing trades on Facebook. It is neat as there are over 800 US dealers
