Has any one had a pair of icicle sunglasses? I am looking for a good pair to buy, I have had some of Harley's $100.00 pairs but lost them 2x. Wife gets mad but a good pair is worth it. I keep getting emails about these glasses & wondered if they are any good or what every one prefers.
I were $10 3M safety glasses from home depot. Tinted during the day clear at night. I prefer my goggles with interchangeable lenses. They're Harley brand, but they quit selling them. First pair I had for almost ten yrs. Second pair it's on its 3rd riding season.
I just got a pair of pan head glasses from 7 eye!!! They are very nice, But I have not rode with them yet....I got them from Bikershades.com . They have a lot to choose from. worth a look......swifty
I have a couple of the 7Eye glasses as well. Very happy with them and they have a removable foam to shield against the wind. Can also get with the photo chromatic lenses so you can use at night or day.
I had a pair of icicle sunglasses and lost them. However I wasn't very happy with the quality. My Oakleys for the same price were better if I was pairing that much.
+1 on the 3m safety glasses, I use them at night a lot. Easy and cheap and I don't have to worry about losing or breaking them!
Just like most everyone else I have spent too much $$$ on various brands of sunglasses over the years. Then I found the KD's. They work for me. As I have aged and occasionally need readers for fine print or menus I have started buying the KD's with readers. They are reasonably priced and I usually buy 2-3 pair at the time because I always end up giving a new pair to a friend.
Check them out. http://www.pacificcoastsunglasses.co...Ds/products/1/
I found out using my vision ins I can get Wiley x for a little over half price. Was $92 for same pair that was $160. Prices include tax. They had other options as well but 3 pairs of wiley x gives me backup frames if something breaks.
I buy 3 or 4 of these at a time. They fit great, come in lots of different lens and frame colors and if you lose or break a pair, you're not out a whole lotta $$.
