I do all my own wrenching and customizing except welding, fab work, and fancy painting. Would love to learn how to do that other stuff, tho...

The money I save doing it all myself allows me to afford more mods. With the exception of the machine work I did my 107 build myself. I saved a bunch on that one. I help some of my friends too, free of charge.

Do my own wrenching and for the most part fabricate a lot of my own parts., The sense of accomplishment is too good to pass up.

I started turning wrenches when I was ten years old and discovered I could pick up pocket money working on bicycles for kids in the neighborhood.

Still do.

Unless your doing internal engine or drive train mods. Everything is just swapping one part for another.
The service manual for your bike is the best "upgrade" available.

Mine has never been to an indie, or dealership, knock on wood. All done by me, so far.

In the near future I will be painting my tins, this may get ugly.

Nothing I won't tackle on a motorcycle, or at least try. There is nothing that a video won't fix! Do it all myself. Actually, making a temp paint booth here soon. Time to get out my good ole trusty Binks spray guns...
