The dealership has to fill out a report stating that the bike was serviced, that it was checked for defects, that they did a predelivery walk around with you (told you about the bike). This report is to be signed by you and then the dealership sends it to Harley Davidson. Again, this is something they have to do with every bike. Your dealer (like a lot of other dealers) is filling it out themselves and sending it in, without giving you any of the customer service that they are obligated to do.
Welcome. Like everyone said call 'em back and get your owners manual, what kinda dealership does that? Anyway good advice on break in. I opted to go to full syn oil at my 1,000 mile maintanance for better protection and longer intervals between oil changes.

Exactly. First go through all paperwork you received when you purchased the bike. Purchase Contract, Due Bills, Odometer Statement, spare key & alarm fob etc. There might be a chance the owners' manual is there. If not then contact your salesman and the finance person that prepared your contract. Then ask to see the General Manager of the Sales Department and advise all of them of what you didn't receive.
There's also a possibility that your salesperson might have been hired recently and didn't follow all protocal when delivering your bike. However, I find that unusual as all the department heads glad handed me when my bike was delivered. My salesman was a trainee and the GM was overseeing his every move.
In addition to all stated above, Harley will ask you to fill out a survey describing your delivery experience. I recommend you answer the questions honestly. Then I will asure you it will not happen again......CJ
Mopar - I hate to say this but it sure sounds like you bought your Bike from the same place I bought mine. If that Dealer is far from where you live, make them do the work and for your inconvenience, insist they compensate you for the insult.
