Yeah, the phone discount alone makes it worth it. My phone bill usually hovers around $300 per month, so 18% off well more than pays for HOG membership.

you do get some benefits.. my insurance dropped significantly. plus free admission to the HD museum if you ever want to stop by. discounts on other stuff. I got my card w/member number one week after my purchase. or you can call them directly. before getting my card I needed the number for another club I was joining. They gave it to me on the spot. congrats and welcome1

It not worth logging into. It's just a scam to get you to buy more from Harley. It reminds me of grocery stores that give you a club card. They over price their items, you swipe your club card at the checkout, you still pay more than you would at Wal Mart, then they say you saved x amount.

That's your opinion, and that's fine. For the OP, I would suggest you check out the local chapter. Some are great, some so-so, some you run away from quickly. If you listen just to the naysayers, you may miss a good time! FWIW, it's been my observation that HOG members really don't give a hoot about the negatives from those folks -- they seem to enjoy what they do (and isn't that what this is all about?).
