I have brand new 2015 Street Glide, Looking for docking ports, sissy bar, and luggage rack, Harley of course is expensive, found everything on EBAY for about a 3rd of the price, just asking if anyone has had good, bad luck. Is it worth the risk? I've never ordered from EBAY but really would love to save the money.
Check seller ratings (ratings as seller - not buyer), inspect pictures very carefully, if the sixth sense is tingling - run. There are deals out there.

Like the title says, I have had great luck with eBay. Just make sure you're covering all the bases by asking all the questions to the seller prior to the purchase. The best purchase I made was on some Rush 1.75" baffled slipons.... $10. I didn't know what to expect, but it was only ten dollars.... Turned out to be lightly used... Worth at least 15 times what I paid. Right now I'm searching for a sissy bar, but my bike is new and less common, so there aren't any on eBay at this time. Good luck!
I've had more bad luck shopping at brick and mortar stores than with Ebay. 15 years, and not a single bad transaction. And, I've sold quite a bit, too.
eBay is not as bad as some make it out to be. Just have to be wary of sellers with low feedback scores. That's usually an indication of poor quality slow shipping or bad customer service. Normally you can click on their feedback scores and see if they have reviews for the product your interested in. Also helps to see where the item is located. I've seen the same knockoff product being sold in China that's also being sold stateside so that will cut down on your shipping time.
