Well I took my old dusty corbin seat out of my garage because I sold the sporty and got another dyna. Unfortunately I was not able to find my mounting crossbar and two catchpins, with spacer.
My whole family has always bought corbin and I thought nothing of it, so I decided to give them a call to see if I could get the part I lost. I was told they do not supply sub-parts. I wrapped that up as not a big deal, so I sent an email out inquiring on the subject, told the same thing.
I am very frustrated! I really like the seat, my dad has bought two seats himself and my uncle has bought two. I've always had good things to say about it when asked, and have done so many times over the years. I now have a useless seat, because I do not have the brackets! While I always thought fondly of the company, this is a turn off, I'm thinking I might go with mustang for my next saddle

It is too bad...they used to be a high quality operation.
My brother ran into the same type situation. They tookbhis order for a seat, then later said they could not make it...no problem, just process a refund, they agreed.
Refund never came thru, several calls, bs, months and had to involve credit card comp. Involved. Totally nuts...i have an old awesome corbin on one bike and a danny gray on my rocker which i love.
I bought a Corbin seat on E-bay which didn't come with the stud that the seat locks to. The rear bracket was with it but not the stud. I contact Corbin and they ask me to go through one of their dealers, which is our local Honda dealer, to get the part I need. No problems; the dealer figured out which part I needed and Corbin sent the whole mounting kit free of any charge or shipping. Damn righteous in my book!
I had a Corbin custom made over the winter. The process went very smooth. Called them and talked about various options, they sent me a bunch of leather swatches, I picked on, called them back, placed the order. It showed up about a month later.
