I'm 5'10" and I've been using the Klockworks 6 1/2"...Being bespectacled the stock shield did nothing to stop my glasses from hopping all over my face at speeds of over 50mph.With the Klockworks that has reduced but not eliminated it.
I have a HD Windsplitter 10" on my 2014 SGS. Works fine at directing the wind over my helmet BUT.......only comes clear (no tints) and the area where the curve is came highly distorted, Impossible to see through that part for slow speed maneuvering and such. Please, no comments on not supposed to look through the windshield, theres times its a must. I got the exact same size and shape from 7Jurrock and its tinted and no distortion. Less than have the HD one.
Not supposed to look through the windshield??? Then why are they transparent? I buy windshields so they are just so high that I look through them, but just near the top edge.I always like a 'shield short enough that I can look over it in rain.
That windsplitter would do me no good at all if it warps like you say it does. OP,clearview is another option, has the curve forward at top but no distortion of sight.
